Comments:
  • Rachel is awesome!
  • Rachel did a fantastic job with the class, from the materials presented to the handling of making sure all of our questions were addressed before we finished. One of the best-run classes I have attended.
  • Rachel was an excellent instructor - I thought the organization of the class was phenomenal. Good participation as well.
  • Rachel was very knowledgeable and articulate AND also engaging and fun. She managed the class very efficiently and addressed questions thoroughly and to the satisfaction of her students.
  • Great Instructor! Hold on to her!
  • Rachel was very good
  • The course was great and very informative.
  • Rachel was fabulous! She explained things clearly, was responsive to questions, and had great energy.
  • Rachel created a fun, open atmosphere which encouraged people to raise questions and issues. She also ran the classroom extremely efficiently, which was good because I was never bored. However, I also felt somewhat rushed and stressed. I wish the breaks and exercises could have been just a few minutes longer. I also wish that we could have discussed questions that people had (mostly pain points they raised) more thoroughly and more as a group discussion. Rachel tended to field the questions herself, very efficiently, but I didn't always get the feeling that everyone was satisfied with the answers. I realize time is short in the class to get through everything, but I would have loved some longer discussions to ensure we all really understood the issues and options more in depth, etc. I realize now that I already had a good basic understanding of everything she trained us about, so perhaps that's why I would have loved a "forum" to discuss real life issues that come up and really get the bottom of them. Or perhaps to take some time during each section to prioritize a particular issue that someone is having related to it - and discuss it more in depth either as a group or in small groups and come up with ideas for resolving them. I think one of the hardest things about agile is making it happen in the real world - and that's why I think it would be very valuable to do this.
  • I think it was an excellent class. I find that her approach promoted learning at all levels which I think is extremely important in a training class. Great class great instructor I am very pleased.
